Gain a solid foundation in commercial real estate with our comprehensive 2-day course. Led by an industry expert, this program covers the unique aspects of the sector, including factors that drive value and the mindset of commercial investors.

Learn essential skills such as budgeting, outgoings reconciliations, preparing management reports, and financial management. Ensure smooth handovers when acquiring new properties and explore the various elements of retail, office, and industrial properties.

Dive into retail and commercial leasing, including retail law, definitions, and jargon. Review QCAT precedent outcomes and the REIQ Realworks Commercial Tenancy Agreement. Understand lease obligations, breaches, rent recovery, reviews, and assignment procedures. Evaluate tenancy mix and key factors in Business and Marketing Plans.

Gain insights into the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, its impact on asbestos, fire protection, engaging contractors, and conducting inspections.
